Richard Freeman teaches in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh. He has held research fellowships and visiting positions at the European University Institute, Florence; Yale University, New Haven; the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg, Bremen; Sciences Po, Paris; the Institut für höhere Studien, Vienna, and the University of Vienna.
